The project is implementing a strategy of internationalisation through the development of three fundamental activities:

Training and qualification

Strengthening and qualification of business abilities as a strategy for internationalisation. Training activities are planned to develop and qualify business skills in order to improve professional and managerial standards, aligning them to the standard required by major players on a global level.

This action requires three training stages:

“Integrated logistics” module

The following topics will be discussed:

  • planning of logistical and productive systems in a global context
  • management of logistical and productive systems in a global context
  • ICT technology to support the supply chain

“Business organisation” module

The following topics will be discussed:

  • Lean Production principles and techniques
  • The continuous improvement process
  • The 5 S method
  • Visual business management
  • Value flows
  • TPM – Total Productive Maintenance
  • Measures of business performance
  • Supportive techniques to change management

“Qualitative standard” modules

Two fundamental standards set out in regulations ISO/TS 16949:2009 and AICQ-SICEV will be examined.

The following topics will be discussed:

  • ISO /TS 16949:2009 technical specification
  • New 2008 regulation and update of the new ISO/TS 16949 2009 technical specification with an additional day valid for the AICQ-SICEV certification process
  • Business evaluators for ISO/TS 16949/2009 quality systems valid for the AICQ-SICEV certification process
  • Additional session valid for the AICQ-SICEV certification process
  • New valuation VDA 6.3 process
  • Course for first and second part process auditors
  • Module BII

Technology Days

Three Technology Days are planned  the 19th and 20th of March and  the 10th of April 


From March 2013 to June 2013

The meetings aim to bring together the Lombardy Automotive Cluster with the most important Players and Clusters of the International Automotive Sector

The events will be organised as follows:

Outgoing, Mission abroad - Cracow - Poland

A mission abroad is planned in Cracow (Poland), in one of the principal active markets for the automotive sector.

The mission will be organised after the Technology Days as a secondary stage for the consolidation of the process of internationalisation of the Lombard productive system.

This action includes the participation of each beneficiary firm in order to promote their own business activity abroad (funding is available for the participation of 2 representatives from each firm).

The mission will take place in Zawiercie near Cracow ( Poland) from the 11th  to the 14th of June 2013.
